Why You Should Travel to Australia (An Intro)

Australia is one of the most interesting and unique countries out there. It is both geographically and culturally diverse. You can find something different and unique about Australia in just about every topic or area you chose to look. Did you know that the Kangaroo and Emu were chosen to be the two animals on the Australian Coat of Arms because they can’t walk backwards, reflecting a forward-thinking culture? They were also the second country to give women the right to vote. These are just two of the many interesting facts about Australia.

Australia offers a huge variety of things to do, places to go, and food to eat. There is literally something for everyone. Whether it is hiking the blue mountains, visiting the opera house, or just hanging out at Darling Harbour, chances are you’ll find something that peaks your interest. In fact, there is so much to do that you’ll likely be unable to hit everything on your list. I don’t think Australia is a country you visit only once.

When I was there, visiting in Sydney, the first thing that I noticed about Australia was how incredibly friendly everyone was. The second thing I noticed was how easy it is to get around town. They have efficient public transportation and the cities feels incredibly safe. It is a place I would not hesitate to travel on my own. If anything, this may be a place you might consider for doing just that.

There is so much that attracts me Australia, much of which I plan to share with you down the road, but I hope this will peak your interest to learn more about what Australia has to offer.
